How Did Thomas Edison Propose Marriage To His Second Wife Mina Miller?

Do you know one of the worlds famous inventor that lived in the late 1800’s?I know an inventor and his name was Thomas Edison. Thomas was born in Milan ,Ohio, on October, 1847. His parents were Samuel Edison and Nancy Elliot Edison, a teacher and daughter of Washington;s army. At age seven, Thomas moved to Port Huron, Michigan.He entered school in the same state.At the age of ten, he made a laboratory in his basement until his mother couldn;t stand the experiment;s odor.

When he was fourteen, Thomas began to have a little business selling fruits and candies. Thomas married two times during his lifetime.Hisfirst marriage was with Mary Stilwell Edison.His second wife was Mina Miller Edison, and they had a son named after Thomas Edison.Thomas;s son was known by ;Dash; because his sister was known ;Dot;.Mina;s parents, Lewis and Mary Miller, grandparents of the two children. Thomas came up with 1,093 inventions that people called him ;The Wizard of Menlo Park.

; His most famous invention was the lightbulb. He also invented the phonograph and the picture camera. Thomas Edison died at 9:00 P.M. On Oct. 18th, 1931 in New Jersey. He was 84 years of age.Before he passedaway, he woke upfrom a coma and quietly whispered to his wife, Mina, who had been keeping a vigil all night by his side : “It is very beautiful over there…”…
